The best little camerastore in Boston

THE OLD STATE HOUSE: Necessary to visit this site in Boston for history buffs like me. The Bromfield Camera store is a couple of blocks away to the left in this picture.
There are few of these old stores left around the world, but they always come in handy for a regular traveller. Or anyone really interested in photography.

It is the classic store where they have something old, something new, something to borrow and something hilarious colored, even blue.

For a traveller they are the place for the dear, needful things - the cable you forgot, the special battery you need, the filter that got broken and so on.

This time I had a typical situation where my polarizer filter was stucked on my lens - and this being a 77 mm, it is beyond the things you may have hopes of finding, even in a well equipped photo corner at Wahlgreen's.

Close to the CBD and the tourist strip you will find Boston's Best Camera Store - Bromfield Camera Co.

It is close to the old anglican church, a couple of blocks away from the old state house where the Declaration of Independence was first read out to the citizens of the Commonwealth of Massachusett the 18th of July 1776.

I do write this recommendation partly on request. Russ was very helpful in finding this rather special double grip-tool you need, and gave a lot of extra information with a smile and a friendly attitude.

When he heard I was a traveller from overseas, he kindly asked me to give them a recommendation on the Internet if I was satisfied with their service.

I was. And here it is.

ARCHITECTURE OF JUSTICE: The John Joseph Moakley United States Courthouse  down at the harbor is both nicely designed and have these quotes of  on the importance of civilized, impartial justice placed in small panels all along the wall.
